This fabulous Pinot is virtually 100% Pinot Noir from Blockhouse Vineyard in Yountville, California. Winemaker John McKay used medium-plus toasted oak from center France barrels. Dark cherry and raspberry flavors marry with nice creaminess from the oak. The flavors are fruity with supple tannins and a good mid-palate texture.
